Luke Brackenridge
If you’ve been going out regularly in Brighton since the 90s, then you’ve probably heard Luke playing in one of the many City venues ranging from local pubs to mainstream bars & clubs. He plays a wide variety of tunes that people want to listen and dance to. All Luke wants is for people to have an amazing memorable evening and then wanna come back again for more.
His wide ranging music selection collected over the years from his early days working at Urban Records with local legend DJ Mick Fuller includes Soul, Funk, Old Skool Hip Hop, Party Breakz, House and Drum n Bass. This eclectic mix of musical flavours means that he is able to subtly blend them together to get the maximum response from the party crowd.
The list of local venues Luke has played at over the years is almost as long as his vinyl record collection. These include the Honeyclub, Concorde 2, Ohso Social, The Zap Club, Coalition, Dead Wax, Western Front, Black Lion and The Sidewinder. He currently plays ole skool Funk & Soul every Saturday night at Brighton’s hottest new entertainment venue The Walrus in Ship Street.
