As the unofficial mayor of Brighton DJ Mikee Hollywood has been spinning the 1s & 2s for over 30 years now all over his hometown city and beyond!

 

He homed his craft on the sweaty 90s & 00s dancefloors of legendary local hotspots The Zap, Escape Club & Funky Buddha. This developed his reputation for blending old skool classics & rave anthems with the latest dancefloor fillers, which lead to a number of longstanding local weekly residencies ~ including 5 years at Madame Geisha & 13 years outside Ohso Social on Brighton beach every Summer. This also triggered invites to play in Dubai, Bali, West Africa & Ibiza!

 

In more recent years Mikee has set up his own successful events company HW Events with long term residencies at numerous venues around the city for the over 40 plus DJs on his books! Nowadays he specialises himself in playing outdoor Summer events by the beachfront ~ plus the annual extended Summer getaway to play in Cyprus & Cafe Del Mar in Ibiza!

 

During this time Mikee has played for some of the biggest dance labels, such as Clockwork Orange, Cream, Kinky Malinki & Perfecto. Just this year alone he has played alongside dance music icons such as Dave Pearce, Smokin Jo, Crazy P, Alex P & Paul Oakenfold!
